Fountain Valley garage fire temporarily displaces 2 townhouse residents
A blaze that broke out in a Fountain Valley garage Saturday temporarily displaced two townhouse residents, fire officials said.
Fountain Valley firefighters were called to 17693 Los Jardines West at about 5 p.m.
The fire began in a garage and spread to a wall adjoining another garage. Crews from Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach and the Orange County Fire Authority quickly knocked down the blaze, said Fountain Valley Fire Department Capt. Nick Fasullo.
Two residents were displaced briefly but have since returned to their home. They were not home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
