5 people hospitalized after crash on 405 Freeway in Costa Mesa
Five people were hospitalized Sunday night with non-life-threatening injuries after a car struck the center divider and overturned on the northbound 405 Freeway in Costa Mesa, ending up on its roof, authorities said.
Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue responded to the crash near Harbor Boulevard at about 6:30 p.m.
The car’s occupants were treated at the scene and taken to local hospitals, according to fire officials.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
