Residents honor late loved ones by candlelight

Local residents gathered Monday night to light candles in memory of late loved ones during the 19th All Faiths Celebration of Life at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Corona del Mar.

The annual celebration, which includes live music and remarks from clergy, begins with a child lighting the main candle. Other guests then light their candles, given to them at the chapel.

Visitors were invited to hang an ornament of remembrance on Pacific View’s “Tree of Life” to be displayed throughout the holiday season.

Pacific View will host a similar ceremony from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at 3500 Pacific View Drive. For more information, call (949) 644-2700.
