Almost $4,000 worth of property was stolen from a vehicle in Newport Beach on Sunday morning, according to police.
Someone smashed the back window of a car parked in the 100 block of Drakes Bay Drive just after 7 a.m. and stole golf clubs, other golf gear and cash, Newport police spokeswoman Jennifer Manzella said.
The damage to the car was estimated at $300, Manzella added.
