Masked men rob Costa Mesa dairy at gunpoint
Masked robbers held up a Costa Mesa drive-in dairy at gunpoint on Saturday night, according to police.
Two men — one wearing a mask and the other wearing a bandana to cover his face — threatened a clerk at the Alta Dena Dairy in the 1000 block of West Baker Street around 9:30 p.m., Costa Mesa police Sgt. Matt Selinske said.
One of the robbers brandished a handgun before taking $150 from the employee and fleeing, according to police.
Both men got into a dark-colored SUV with a third person before driving west on Baker Street, Selinske said.
Detailed descriptions of the robbers were not available.
