A group of burglars used a blowtorch to break into a telecommunications business and steal thousands of dollars worth of equipment early Sunday in Costa Mesa, police said.
Officers responded to EnGenius Technologies, at 1590 Sunland Lane, about 9:26 a.m. where they found someone had used a blowtorch to cut through a roll-down metal gate, Costa Mesa police Sgt. Jim Brown said.
Surveillance video shows a group of burglars breaking in at 1:47 a.m., Brown said.
Two people came inside to steal about $6,300 worth of telecommunications equipment while three or four others waited outside, according to police.
Brown said they all wore dark clothing and hoodies.
