The City Council will interview all applicants at its Dec. 16 meeting.

The Planning Commission has five members who are appointed to two-year terms. Their responsibilities are to review items related to development and modification of land uses within city limits and advise the council.

Commissioners receive $324 a month, according to the release, and the expected time commitment is four to six hours a week. In addition to meetings, commissioners are expected to visit sites and review project proposals.

Experience in land-use planning, architecture, engineering or real estate would be an asset.

The city clerk’s office is in City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. For more information, call (949) 497-0309.
