The first public meeting of the Laguna Canyon Road Task Force will be held Wednesday at City Hall, according to a news release.
The Laguna Beach City Council established the group to obtain a wide range of input from the community regarding improvements, such as easing congestion and improving safety, within the Laguna Canyon Road corridor.
The task force, which includes Councilwoman Toni Iseman, Mayor Pro Tem Bob Whalen and Laguna Beach Unified School District board Trustee Theresa O’Hare, will meet once a month. Members will evaluate the top two or three options and make a recommendation to the council in the spring.
Wednesday’s meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers, 505 Forest Ave. Proceedings can be viewed Thursday at lagunabeachcity.net.
