Ocean View High School saw its senior Seahawks leave the nest on Wednesday afternoon, as the school held its commencement ceremony on campus.
Students entered the stadium in procession, making their way from the track to their seats. The class of 2021 was introduced, with their names being read one by one before receiving their diplomas.
The national anthem and the alma mater were performed by Linnea Hoodman and Kylie Watson. Senior class president Kaylee Garcia was among those to speak at the graduation, as were fellow seniors Alyse Madera and Angelina Tan.
Ocean View athletic director Tim Walsh and Erica Quintero teamed up for the announcement of the graduates. The Ocean View class of 2021 was also presented by first-year principal Dr. Robert Rasmussen.
An assortment of decorative caps was seen at the graduation, with many students choosing to pay tribute to their heritage.
