Victims of fatal crashes in Newport Beach and H.B. are identified

A pedestrian and a bicyclist who were killed in crashes in Newport Beach and Huntington Beach were identified Wednesday by the Orange County coroner’s office.
The pedestrian, Aubrye Foote, 45, of Newport Beach, was struck and killed by a vehicle at about 11:20 p.m. Saturday on San Joaquin Hills Road west of Newport Ridge Drive, authorities said.
Foote was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where she died about 35 minutes later, according to the coroner’s office.
The crash was being investigated by Newport Beach police.
A 62-year-old bicyclist who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Huntington Beach was identified as Hector Carrillo.
The collision occurred at about 10:15 p.m. March 6 on Pacific Coast Highway just north of Seapoint Street. Carrillo died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported. His city of residence was unclear.
The crash was being investigated by Huntington Beach police.
