Costa Mesa police: Body found at apartment complex

A body was found Friday morning in a Costa Mesa apartment complex, police said.

Police and the Orange County coroner’s office are investigating the case of a body found in the complex at 3400 Avenue of the Arts, after responding to a call received about 10:30 a.m., Lt. Rob Sharpnack said.

Sharpnack said the person most likely died of natural causes, but police won’t know for sure until the coroner’s office concludes its investigation.
