Tree lighting with mayor set for Dec. 4

Fountain Valley is ushering in the holiday season with a free family event.

The city is hosting its annual tree lighting with Mayor Larry Crandall and a special guest from the North Pole.

The event will feature a fireworks show, live entertainment, crafts and games.

Pictures will Santa will be $2 and local food vendors will be selling eats.

The event begins at 5 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center and Sports Park at 16400 Brookhurst St.
