The 19th annual A Taste for Charity and silent auction raised more than $100,000 for local organizations, including $12,000 to benefit the Laguna Food Pantry, organizers said.

The event is put on in May by the Charitable Assistance Fund, a nonprofit created by the Laguna Board of Realtors.

The pantry provides free fresh groceries to low-income households. It is open from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays through Fridays at 20652 Laguna Canyon Road.
